At Panjab University Zonal Level Youth Festival 2013, the college sent participation in Drama, Gidha, Group Dance, Skit, Debate, Elocution, Creative Writing, Poetry Recitation, Group Bhajan, Ghazal, Fine Arts items of collage and poster making, still life, landscape, Rangoli, Clay Modelling, Cartooning and the Heritage items of Vaar and Kavishri Singing, Ladies Traditional Song, Phulkari, Knitting, Crochet and Kasuti/ Dasuti work, Pakhi Making, Mehndi Designing and Sammi.
The Department of Computer Applications of the college organized 'Tech Mantra' an Inter College IT Fest. Students from 11 colleges participated in the events of Software Development, Movie Presentation, e-Poster Making, Best out of e-waste, Online Quiz and Face Painting. the Chief Guest, Mr. S.K Setia, Additional Secretary, Estates, Chandigarh Administration appreciated the participants for their efforts and gave away prizes to the winners.
The Department of Business Administration and the Department of Commerce of the college organized a 'Business Fest' in which students of various colleges of the tricity participated enthusiastically. the competitions organized at the fest were Quiz, Breaking News, Logo Designing and Street Play.
Republic Day was celebrated in the college on 26th January, 2014.the Secretary, Dev Samaj,Shriman Nirmal Singh Dhillon Ji hosted the flag. on this occasion the Department of Sanskrit organized an Inter-University Patriotic Song and Bhajan Competition with the collaboration of Sanskrit Academy, Chandigarh.
A function unique to Dev Samaj culture valuing human relationships was celebrated on 13th February, 2015. The Diwas is celebrated to value the Parent Child Bond and to make the students realize their duty towards their parents. Students expressed gratitude towards their parents by presenting bhajans, songs and sharing precious memories. The Chief Guest Ms. Poonam Sharma, Mayor, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh was highly impressed and congratulated the college for inculcating such values among the students. Shriman Nirmal Singh ji, Chairperson Dev Samaj College Managing Committee shared personal incidents of his life to highlight the significance of imbibing this Dev Samaj tradition to strengthen family relationships.
The NCC Unit of the college consists of 63 cadets. The cadets were involved in various activities throughout the year. They are groomed under the guidance of Mrs. Sabeeha Dhillon Mangat and Dr. Neeru Gupta. On 18th October, 2014, fifteen Cadets attended a awareness programme on Breast and Cervix Cancer organized by NCC Unit. NCC officer along with two cadets Ambika Gupta and Atika Bano attended a 10 day DCATC-I Camp at the Ropar Academy from 27th October to 5th November, 2014.
NCC officer along with Cadet Ambika Gupta attended a 10 day DCATC-II Camp at Ropar Academy from 6th to 15th November, 2014. Six Cadets participated as volunteers at the Blood Donation Camp organized by NCC unit on 22nd November, 2014. At the NCC Day Celebration, Cadet Tarika of BA-Ist year won consolation prize in Run for force fun. Cadet Ritu and Cadet Parasanna Devi of B.Sc-2nd year attended National Integration Camp-I held at Alappuzha (Kerala DTE). Thirteen Cadets attended the Annual Training Camp at Ropar from 31st January to 9th February, 2015.
National Service Scheme is adopted by the College to instill the virtues of selfless service, amity and integrity amongst the students. The college has two units of NSS consisting of 200 volunteers working under the guidance of Programme Officers. On 20th August, 2014, Sadbhavana Diwas was observed by taking the pledge for emotional oneness and harmony. On 5th September, 2014 tree plantation drive was carried out in which volunteers planted plants in the Herbal Garden. Debate on the topic Social Networking Sites and extempore on the topic Fashion and Crime were held on the occasion. Swachh Bhart Abhiyan was carried out by the volunteers from 26th Sept., to 2nd Oct., 2014. 7 Day Special Day Night Camp was held from 6th to 12th Oct., 2014. Following activities were carried out during the camp. Regular Yoga and Aerobics Classes for Mental and by Dr. Narinder from GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Two day workshop on Art and Craft was conducted by Mr. Rakesh from Pidilite. Ms. Nilakshi Program Coordinator of Multi Organ Harvesting Aid Network (MOHAN) delivered a lecture on Organ Donation. Eye Donation Awareness Camp : an Eye Donation Awareness camp was organized with the assistance of GMCH-32 Chandigarh. Poster Making and Slogan Writing Competitions were also held on this occasion. Quomi Ekta Week : The volunteers collected Rs. 2000/- for contributing towards National Foundation for Communal Harming.
Pulse Polio Campaign : 13 volunteers trained as vaccinators by the doctors from Health Department of Chandigarh Administration carried out immunization during the Polio Drive in Chandigarh.
7 days Special Day-Night Camp was held in the college from Oct 11-17, 2013. Following activities were carried out during this camp : Regular Yoga Classes and Self Defence Training sessions were conducted for the students.. A workshop on Self Grooming and Hair care was conducted. The Cancer Aid Society, Chandigarh held a talk to create awareness about cancer. Nukkad Natak on the theme of 'Save the Girl Child' was presented by the volunteers for the children of Burail village.
Psychology Club organized an inter-class Essay Writing and Slogan Writing Competition on 20th February, 2013. The topic for essay writing competition was Technological Addiction and Mental Health of Youth whereas the topic for slogan writing was Stress and Time Management. The winners were given prizes on the occasion. The Psychology Club organized a talk on Career Counselling and Personality Development on 14th February, 2015. The speaker Ms. Gurpreet from State Council of Education Research and Training, Sector-32, Chandigarh, apprised the students about the avenues open to them after graduation in psychology

The Environment Club of our college organises various talks and programmes to inculcate Ethics og Environment and Role of students for conservation of environment.
Various workshops and exhibition of paintings, art and craft are conducted by fashion designing and Fine Arts Dept. of the college.
Literary competitions such as poetry and essay writing are organised to sharpen the writing and communication skill in students.
At the inaugural function of the club on 25th Aug., 2012, a workshop on Personality Development was organized for the students . Mr. Anil Saxena a Corporate Trainer organized Management Games for the students to highlight the significance of team coordination, time and resource management. Under the guidance of Dr. Shikha Vohra and Mrs. Harpreet Walia a workshop on Management Skills was conducted by BBA Department in collaboration with College Development Council, Panjab University, Chandigarh. The modules discussed at the workshop were personality development, communication skills,stress and time management and self defence. The key speakers at the workshop were Mr. Prabhdeep Mehta, Vice President of HSBC, Dr. Deepti Gupta from English Dept. Panjab Univeristy Dr. Anuradha Bandari from Psychology Dept. Panjab University and Mr. Arvind Malhotra General Manager CITCO.
The Math Club is for those with an interest in mathematics.The purpose of the math club is to give our students who are studying or have studied math an opportunity to use and improve their mathematics skills and to learn more about advancements and opportunities in the fields of mathematics. It also promotes interaction among math undergraduates, graduates and faculty members.
